Wednesday 25th February 2026 10am - 4.30pm The WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) Level 1 Award in Wines is a beginner-level qualification for wine enthusiasts and hospitality professionals. Taught by Richard Bouglet from L’Art du Vin, this one-day course is fully accredited by Ofqual as a Level 1 Vocational Qualification. This course includes guided tastings, food and wine pairing exercises. Upon successful completion, you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin.

Taught by Richard Bouglet from L’Art du Vin, this three-day course is fully accredited by Ofqual as part of the UK Government’s Qualifications & Credits Framework as a Level 2 Vocational Qualification. This qualification is intended for beginners wishing to learn about a wide range of wines or those seeking to build on the introductory knowledge gained with the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines. You’ll gain knowledge of the principal and regionally important grape varieties of the world, the regions in which they are grown, and the styles of wine they produce. Through a combination of tasting and theory, you’ll explore the factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe these wines with confidence.
Practical Cookery Diploma (6 months)

This 6 month course is perfect for people wishing to undertake training that will equip them with the knowledge and skills for a career in the food industry. The first term starts by covering basic cooking techniques to give a solid grounding in culinary skills and the second term focuses on developing skills and more advanced techniques.

This eleven week course is designed for people with a solid knowledge and ability in basic cookery. It’s ideal for those wishing to take their cookery skills to the next level or for competent cooks who wish to have a formal training.
