“This is a city of shifting light, of changing skies, of sudden vistas.
A city so beautiful it breaks the heart again and again.”

If you are looking to study cookery abroad, you would be hard pressed to find a city more enchanting than Edinburgh. From the historic Old Town and Castle to the grandeur of the New Town, Edinburgh has something for everyone.

Although relatively small for a capital city, few would deny the sense of friendliness and intimacy such a place can offer. Coming to the Edinburgh New Town Cookery School for a full-time course will enable you to fully appreciate this city in all its splendour. As well as being a foodie haven, Edinburgh is a stimulating city in terms of art, culture and architecture.

The award-winning Edinburgh New Town Cookery School is situated amongst all this in the centre of the city and we are delighted to welcome international students.

Eligibility

Whilst we welcome students from all over the world, we do require that a reasonable standard of English can be spoken. As a guide, if English is your second language, we would ask that you have achieved an IELTS band score of 6 for all courses on one month and longer.

To find out what our ex-students have to say about the course and how it has helped them in their careers, visit our Alumni page.
