Half & One Day Workshops & Cookery Classes
Sunday 7th June 2026 9.45am - 3.30pm
The day starts at 9.45am with coffee and a short demonstration of the techniques to be used during the day. You will then head to the kitchen and start cooking. We have a break for lunch, which is served in our beautiful first floor dining room with views across to Fife. After lunch you will finish off the recipes, ready to pack them up and take them home.

Learn how to create a relaxed, seasonal three-course menu perfect for spring and summer entertaining. In this hands-on class, you’ll cook stylish dishes designed to build confidence and impress guests with ease. After a short demonstration, you’ll prepare and enjoy your menu in our beautiful dining room, complete with a glass of wine. The menu will be confirmed closer to the date.

From the coastal bouillabaisse of Provence to a comforting chicken sauté from the Loire, and elegant Normandy apple tart, each dish tells its own story. A deliciously indulgent day of cooking, learning, and tasting.

This five day course is designed for students who are about to go to college or university or who are leaving halls of residence to fend for themselves. They will learn basic cookery to help them survive healthily through their time away.
