During the holidays why not send your child for a one day cooking course at Edinburgh New Town Cookery School. This children's cookery class is designed for children aged 9 – 12 years old. Children will be taught cooking skills using the best seasonal ingredients, cooking dishes that they can easily recreate at home.

On this one day Christmas Baking Course we will show you how easy and quick it is to make your own mincemeat and pastry so that you will never use shop bought again, we will be making a christmas cake with a difference - it contains chocolate as well as fruit and we will make Stollen, a European favourite Christmas cake/bread.

Wednesday 4th December 2024 10.30am - 12.30pm On this morning Christmas Canape demonstration at Edinburgh New Town Cookery School in December you arrive for coffee and shortbread and the demonstration will start at 10.30am. The demonstration will last for 2 hours during which you will be shown how to make several festive savoury and sweet canapes which you will taste at the end of the demonstration with a glass of prosecco.

These recipes will become reliable standbys. Most of the recipes can be prepared in advance but the others are quick and easy to put together. Come and join us and bring friends so that you can have your own pre- Christmas celebration.
