Learn to cook exciting new dishes, perfect for entertaining, at a Sunday practical cookery class in our stunning kitchens. These cookery courses are designed to inspire you with new ideas for dinner party dishes.
Arrive at 9.45 am for coffee or tea while you watch a short demonstration and run through the day’s recipes. You will cook three courses suitable for dinner parties. You can then enjoy the meal, in our beautiful dining room, with a glass of wine. The day will finish at approximately 2 – 2.30pm and All recipies can be adapted to be vegan friendly.
The recipes may include:
Celeriac soup finished with truffle oil and roasted hazelnuts
Mushroom wellington with a rich red wine gravy
Brussel sprouts sauteed with chestnuts
Herby roast new potatoes
Orange chocolate fondant with Cointreau Chantilly cream
Allergens:
Nuts, Dairy, Gluten, sulphites
Dietary Requirements and Allergies:
- Please let us know of any dietary requirements, allergies or special accommodations required at the time of booking. We will be as flexible as possible, when we can, so as to be inclusive to all students but we may not be able to substitute ingredients in the recipes.
- We do everything we can to reduce the risk of cross contamination, however we cannot guarantee a completely allergen free environment and therefore our kitchens may be unsuitable for students with severe or life-threatening allergies.

Age limit
Our one-day workshops and short courses are 16+ unless otherwise specified. Children aged 14 or 15 may attend with an adult over 18.
