Sunday 7th June 2026
9.45am – 3.30pm
Most people love a delicious dessert at the end of a meal and on this one day workshop at Edinburgh New Town Cookery School we will be teaching various tecniques that people tell us they find difficult, namely meringues, gelatine, pastry and working with chocolate! With the recipes we’ve chosen we will take the mystery out of the making of these puddings and it will give you confidence to try many more. The day starts at 9.45am with coffee and a short demonstration of the techniques to be used during the day. You will then head to the kitchen and start cooking. We have a break for lunch, which is served in our beautiful first floor dining room with views across to Fife. After lunch you will finish off the recipes, ready to pack them up and take them home.
The recipes to be cooked on the day may be:
Chocolate Fondants
Lemon Meringue Roulade
Raspberry Frangipane Tart
Coffee and Amaretto Panna Cotta
