Led by Richard Bouglet of L’Art du Vin, a WSET Level 4 Diploma holder with over 35 years of experience in the wine trade, this course combines engaging instruction with hands-on learning, including guided tastings and food-and-wine pairing exercises.
What to expect:
- A study pack will be provided a few weeks prior to the course to allow time for preparation.
- A three-day course culminating in a one-hour closed-book exam consisting of 50 multiple-choice questions (no blind tasting).
- Over 35 wines tasted throughout the course.
- Learn how to taste wine systematically, understand the fundamentals of grape growing and winemaking, and explore key wine regions around the world.
- Lunch prepared by our professional chefs is included each day.
- A minimum of 12 hours of self-study in addition to the course time is recommended to successfully pass the exam.

Assessment:
The qualification is assessed by a one-hour closed-book exam consisting of 50 multiple-choice questions.

Entry Requirements:
There are no entry requirements for this qualification. You must be of legal drinking age to participate in any alcohol tasting. However, this is not a barrier to successfully completing the qualification.
