Adult & Child Half Day Halloween Baking
Spend a fun-filled afternoon together creating spooky seasonal bakes with your child on our Halloween baking course in Edinburgh. Designed for children aged 9 to 16 and their favourite adult – whether Mum, Dad, Aunty, Uncle, Grandparent, Godparent, or someone special. This hands-on workshop is the perfect way to celebrate the Halloween season.
Together, you’ll bake a selection of themed treats, including:

Pumpkin spiced cupcakes topped with fondant pumpkins

Toffee apple bars with a perfectly sweet finish

Mummy sausage rolls, expertly wrapped and baked

A ghostly fougasse, perfect for sharing
Each adult and child will cook side by side, learning simple baking skills while creating delicious dishes to take home for the whole family to enjoy. Running from 2pm–5pm, the course price covers both adult and child. A wonderful opportunity to bond, learn, and enjoy homemade Halloween treats together.

This highly practical one week beginners cookery course at Edinburgh New Town Cookery School will help those who love food but have always felt inhibited by their lack of skill in the kitchen. At the start of the course we teach basic knife skills and cooking methods and techniques. By the end of the week you will be understanding how to follow recipes and cooking meals with confidence.
