A popular area of employment during this time is working as a Chalet Host in the Alps. As part of a gap year it is a great experience to work as a Chalet girl or boy. Other opportunities include working in Villas, Shooting and Sporting Lodges, Yachts in the Mediterranean or Caribbean and in other areas of the world. Having an employable skill can help to fund the gap year too and we have links with agencies who employ people for these sectors.
