- Please let us know of any dietary requirements, allergies or special accommodations required at the time of booking. We will be as flexible as possible, when we can, so as to be inclusive to all students but we may not be able to substitute ingredients in the recipes.
- We do everything we can to reduce the risk of cross contamination, however we cannot guarantee a completely allergen free environment and therefore our kitchens may be unsuitable for students with severe or life-threatening allergies.

Age limit
Our one-day workshops and short courses are 16+ unless otherwise specified. Children aged 14 or 15 may attend with an adult over 18.
Course times
On the day, the school will be open from 9.45am and the class will begin at 10am The class will be finished by 2pm, depending on the course and class size it may finish earlier.

Suitable for all skill levels, it’s a relaxed and social evening perfect for anyone looking to explore Middle Eastern food and spice up their Monday night.

Most people like a curry but they come in so many different styles depending on where you are in the world. Take your love of spice to the next level with our Curries Around the World 2 Class. Building on the popularity of our first class, this hands-on day explores the unique flavours and techniques behind curries from India, Thailand, and beyond. You’ll cook a delicious variety of dishes such as Beef Rendang, Chicken Pasanda, and Thai Jungle Curry. Enjoy your creations over lunch with a glass of wine (or a soft drink), then take home more freshly made curries to share.

Warm up this winter with a hands-on afternoon of baking and indulgence. In this cosy cookery class, you’ll learn how to prepare a seasonal selection of sweet and savoury delights, perfect for sharing over a pot of tea. The baking will take 3 hours and then you’ll have an hour to relax and eat your home baked afternoon tea with a glass of fizz and a cup of tea or coffee in our beautiful Georgian dining room with views over Queen Street Gardens.

Discover the vibrant flavours of Thailand with our Thai Cuisine Class. This hands-on day will introduce you to the key ingredients and techniques behind authentic Thai cooking, from curry pastes and dressings to classic dishes like Pad Thai, Tom Yam Gai, and Panaeng Curry. After a morning demonstration and coffee, you’ll cook your own dishes to enjoy over lunch with a glass of wine (or a soft drink). The afternoon continues with more recipes to prepare and take home, bringing the taste of Thailand to your kitchen.

Delicious buttery, melt in the mouth Scottish shortbread is a thing of wonder. In this 1 3/4 hour class we teach you how to make shortbread using an old family recipe.
