Our courses cater to all levels. Each class description on our website indicates the level of experience required, if any. Many of our one-day classes are perfect for beginners or keen home cooks, while our professional courses are designed for those aiming to pursue a culinary career.
Our one-day workshops and short courses are 16+ unless otherwise specified. Children aged 14 or 15 may attend with an adult over 18.
We will do our best to accommodate dietary requirements where possible. Please let us know of any dietary requirements, allergies or special accommodations before booking. We will be as flexible as possible, when we can, so as to be inclusive to all students but we may not be able to substitute ingredients in the recipes.
We do everything we can to reduce the risk of cross contamination, however we cannot guarantee a completely allergen free environment and therefore our kitchens may be unsuitable for students with severe or life-threatening allergies.
Our school is located in a historic building, and while we do our best to accommodate all students, at the moment we have limited accessibility. Please contact us in advance so we can advise and assist as needed.
Just yourself, an apron, tupperware to take your goodies home and last but not least, your enthusiasm! We provide all ingredients and equipment. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are recommended for your safety in the kitchen. If you’re attending a longer course, we’ll let you know if anything additional is required.
If you want to cancel or reschedule your course, we need notification of this 7 days before the course date. We will not be able to reschedule your course after this time, but we can try to find a replacement (but cannot guarantee this). If we do, we will be able to transfer your booking to a future course or you can choose to send someone in your place. (Please read our short course terms and conditions for more information).
For reasons of health and safety, if you have or have had food poisoning or a viral sickness bug i.e. sickness and diarrhoea, please do not attend the School until you have been clear of symptoms for 48 hours. If this happens, when you are due to attend a short course, no refund will be offered unless we can fill your place or you can send someone else in your place. This is to ensure the safety of other attendees and staff at the School.
You can redeem your gift voucher when booking a class online by entering the voucher code at checkout. Vouchers are valid for one year from the date of issue and can be used to book any available course, provided the code is applied before the expiry date.
We regularly update our course calendar. If a class you’re interested in is fully booked or not currently listed, keep an eye on our website or sign up for our newsletter to be the first to hear about new dates. Alternatively, drop us an email at info@entcs.co.uk with your note of interest.
