Come to The Edinburgh New Town Cookery School to see how to make interesting, varied and delicious vegetarian dishes using a variety of techniques. Good for vegetarians who want more ideas and people who are cooking for vegetarians and need inspiration. The day starts at 9.45 with a cup of coffee and tea and a demonstration on some of the techniques to be covered in the day. In the morning you will make dishes for lunch which you can enjoy with a glass of wine. After lunch there are more recipes to try and plenty to take home with you.
Recipes covered may include:
Spring Quinoa Salad
Malaysian Vegetarian Laksa with Tofu
Mushroom Pithivier
Marinated Aubergines with Oregano and Tahini
This course is suitable for adults of over 16. Children aged 14 and above can attend but only when accompanied on the course by an adult. Please check with the school before booking if you have any queries about this.
