This three day course will teach the basic cookery skills which are essential for every cook to know. Each day you will cook a variety of dishes some of which you will eat for lunch and the rest you can take home. As the days progress your confidence will rise and you will leave on the third day with new recipes and new skills. Techniques covered will include:
Knife skills,
Browning meat
Pastry making
Cooking with eggs
Cake making
Bread making
Roasting
Fish cookery
Cooking vegetables

I didn’t really know what to expect before I arrived but hoped that I would come away from the course with a bit more confidence in some of the basics, a few new recipes in my repertoire and also having had a really enjoyable time in good company.
