On this practical intermediate cookery course at the Edinburgh New Town Cookery School we concentrate on the more advanced cookery skills and techniques. The day starts at 9.30 am every day when we run through the recipes that will be covered. After a morning’s cooking we stop for lunch when you can eat the dishes you cooked in the morning. After lunch, the day proceeds with more cooking and demonstrations. All the food you cook and haven’t eaten for lunch, is yours to take home with you.
This course is particularly designed for those who can cook but who feel that they are not confident enough in their skills to take it on to the next stage. By the end of the week you will be cooking delicious meals with renewed confidence.
This course can be taken in conjunction with the beginners one week cookery course which takes place in the preceding week, or it can be taken as a week on its own. If you live outside Edinburgh, please contact us if you would like help with accommodation.

This course is suitable for adults over 16. Children aged 14 and above can attend but only when accompanied on the course by an adult. Please check with the school before booking if you have any queries about this.
