9.30am – 1.30pm
If you or someone in your household has been told that they are gluten intolerant or that they have coeliac disease then it is important that they do not eat foods containing gluten. This means that baking can be a challenge but shouldn’t be impossible as we all need a treat now and again! However by substituting some other ingredients for wheat flour you can produce the most delicious cakes, bakes and pastries. On this half day Gluten Free Baking course at Edinburgh New Town Cookery School we will cook both sweet and savoury gluten free recipes which you will want to repeat again and again.
The day starts at 9.30 am and you will cook a variety of sweet and savoury bakes and see how to use various ingredients that are gluten free in your baking
The recipes covered on this course may include:
Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies
Gluten Free Bakewell Tart
Gluten Free Rosemary Focaccia
