Judith Wilson – Teacher

After 18 years working in Higher Education management and administration, Judith decided it was time for a change and enrolled on Edinburgh New Town Cookery School’s Diploma course in order to pursue her interests in cooking, catering and how food brings people together.  Energised by spending six fun months in the ENTCS kitchen, she decided to see where a career in food would take her.  Since completing the course, she has worked as a private chef, caterer and a freelance cookery teacher.

Judith is naturally drawn to baking and pastry and has done exhaustive, (purely selfless!) worldwide research into cakes and pastries.  As a devotee of Germanic Küchen and Torten, her personal favourite is the Bavarian showstopper: Agnes Bernauer Torte.

She firmly believes that anyone can cook and enjoys teaching on the evening, short and one week courses.
